Responsibilities
• The DLP Sales Specialist is distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in data loss prevention software sales.
• Viewed as an expert in the field of Data Loss Prevention.
• Assigned to train Account Managers and drive sales through those Account Managers in large, complex, high-visibility, strategic, or tactically important, named accounts (Fortune 1000-with 5,000 plus employees).
• Develops strategies and orchestrates company resources to maximize sales volume and profit goals within assigned product lines.
• This is a specialist account management position.
• Accounts are target accounts that have a major strategic impact on the long-term success of the organization.
• Interacts with accounts and makes presentations at the executive and system administration level.
• Responsible for maximizing DLP solutions within assigned region of accounts.
• While responsible for meeting assigned quota, typically not measured on sales volume alone.
• Account penetration and balanced product sales growth are important performance measures.
• Work independently, while selling in a team environment.
• Interface with all levels of management negotiating and influencing to build consensus.
• Presents programs internally and externally.
• Work is focused on operational plans in support of strategic goals.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years demonstrated sales account management experience selling security/data loss prevention solutions to Fortune 1000 companies.
• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years selling in a “specialist” or overlay capacity.
• Ability to liaise with partners at all levels with demonstrated experience selling to the executive level customer in the high-tech industry.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to take account ownership.
• Good analytical capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong achievement against quota.
• Proven ability to cultivate lasting customer relations
