<p>Responsibilities <br />• This senior-level sales account manager is responsible  for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts through business  to business sales of Symantec software licensing, appliances and services to  enterprise accounts (1,000-5,000 employees) as well as some large enterprise  Fortune 2000 accounts. <br />• Working with the District Sales Manager, develop  and implement specific customer account and opportunity plans in support of  company goals and quota objectives. <br />• Effectively engage sales resources:  SE, Channel, ISO, Solutions sales teams and executives on the development and  implementation of customer account plans. <br />• Using CRM, responsible for the  development, management and closure of forecasted opportunities. <br />• Manage  and drive revenue through complex, multiple go-to-market strategies. <br />•  Execute complex sales and effectively manage the sales process and activities.  <br />• Meet or exceed sales quota. <br />• Work independently and remotely,  receiving little supervision for most assignments. <br />• Interface to negotiate  and exchange information with all levels of management.</p>
<p>Qualifications <br />• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. <br />•  Requires a minimum of 4-6 years demonstrated successful account management  experience selling enterprise security and/or storage software to the executive  level customer in the high-tech industry. <br />• Proven track record of strong  and consistent achievement against quota. <br />• Ability to effectively partner  with and engage internal sales resources, i.e. Sales Specialists and Sales  Engineers, as well as liaise with external partners at all levels. <br />•  Excellent time management skills. <br />• Ability to take account ownership. <br />•  Good analytical capabilities. <br />• Excellent verbal and written communication  skills. <br />• Excellent presentation skills. <br />Must have backup and recovery  software exp<!-- START CLTAGS --></p>

<p>Responsibilities <br />• The DLP Sales Specialist is distinguished by  additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of  success in data loss prevention software sales. <br />• Viewed as an expert in the  field of Data Loss Prevention. <br />• Assigned to train Account Managers and  drive sales through those Account Managers in large, complex, high-visibility,  strategic, or tactically important, named accounts (Fortune 1000-with 5,000 plus  employees). <br />• Develops strategies and orchestrates company resources to  maximize sales volume and profit goals within assigned product lines. <br />• This  is a specialist account management position. <br />• Accounts are target accounts  that have a major strategic impact on the long-term success of the organization.  <br />• Interacts with accounts and makes presentations at the executive and  system administration level. <br />• Responsible for maximizing DLP solutions  within assigned region of accounts. <br />• While responsible for meeting assigned  quota, typically not measured on sales volume alone. <br />• Account penetration  and balanced product sales growth are important performance measures. <br />• Work  independently, while selling in a team environment. <br />• Interface with all  levels of management negotiating and influencing to build consensus. <br />•  Presents programs internally and externally. <br />• Work is focused on  operational plans in support of strategic goals.</p>
